Spurwink seeks a Clinician to join our School Based Counseling team in our dynamic and growing Outpatient and Community Services Western Region. As a school-based clinician you will be co-located inOak Hill Middle School in Sabattusand will provide individual and family therapy to youth grades 6 to 8. The work schedule will primarily be during school hours with some after school hours and will be 5 days a week. Supervision and training are provided to support licensing requirements as well as professional growth and development. This is a fee-for-service position. We offer licensure and training reimbursements, therapy and office supply reimbursement, as well as a great opportunity to work with a skilled and supportive team.
Duties:
As a school-based clinician, you will provide individual and family therapy to youth and their families in the school and occassionally home setting. We seek a collaborative clinician who will work with educators to best meet the needs of each student served. Stay current with and use evidenced based and best practices. Good organizational skills and comfort with electronic record keeping is essential. Documentation compliance from the school based office.
Qualifications:
Applicant must possess a professional license from the state of Maine and be independently licensed as an LCSW or LCPC preferred, conditional will be considered.
